NIBONG TEBAL, June 11 — The recent diesel price hike of RM1.20 per litre will not affect padi farmers as they will continue receiving subsidies, assured Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.

PUTRAJAYA, June 11 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that savings from targeted diesel subsidies will be redirected to the people, especially via improved public transport and the Rahmah Cash Aid (STR).

TOKYO, May 24 — The implementation of the targeted diesel subsidy is not to burden the people, but aimed at the rich and foreigners who have long benefited from the subsidy, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said.
